When I was a kid we used to trap them. We got 10 cents for each pair of front feet.
Home Depot and Lowe’s sell stuff that you hook up to the hose then spray on the lawn. That spray on stuff kills the critters that the gophers eat. Once their food supply is gone they go away. We did our front and back yard and they were gone within a week.
