Can holes in wood siding (from woodpecker damage) be repaired?

stevetower April 23, 2009 at 9:17 pm: Pieces of siding can be fit in and is the best fix. Might have to trim parts to get it in. If the holes are small and you have a solid color stain, you can fill the holes with wood filler and stain over it.
Grandma of 2 April 25, 2009 at 11:12 pm: If they are just small holes…you can try filling them in with a putty knife and wood filler. You can get wood filler in pretty much any color that will not show on your cedar siding.
