Can holes in wood siding (from woodpecker damage) be repaired?

Pieces of siding can be fit in and is the best fix. Might have to trim parts to get it in. If the holes are small and you have a solid color stain, you can fill the holes with wood filler and stain over it.

If they are just small holes…you can try filling them in with a putty knife and wood filler. You can get wood filler in pretty much any color that will not show on your cedar siding.
