Though we all have moles in different places on our bodies, some have them in places where they might rather not. Maybe you have an unsightly mole on your face, or maybe you have one in an area where it gets rubbed by your clothing and becomes irritated. In cases like those, you may need to have some variety of mole removal procedure done to lose the difficulty. There are a large amount of different techniques you can try, and none of the best methods are going to come cheap. This paper will give you information about the different types of mole removal and the cost of having each one done.

There are some foolhardy individuals who will tell you the only way to get rid of a mole is to get hold of it and rip it off. Naturally, this is the least dear way of going about it but admittedly not the safest or most pleasing. The process will be very painful and result in a large amount of blood. In addition, just carelessly ripping off any mole isn’t a great idea. Some moles can be indicators of cancer and may be looked at by a doctor prior to trying any kind of mole removal. Though ripping off a mole could be the least dear way to remove a mole, it likely isn’t the technique you are going to want to try.

Probably the most cheap yet safe technique of mole removal is what’s called natural mole removal, but even that is expensive. You may find numerous creams advertised on the Net that say they will easily remove moles, warts, and skin flaps. These creams will cost anywhere from $25 to $100 per tube, and the tubes may only hold enough cream to treat 4 moles. If a cream will work for you, this is a really easy method of losing moles. However, it can end up costing you quite a lot if you do not find a cream that works for you the first time.

Two different types of surgical procedures are used to remove moles. One of these involves a doctor shaving the mole off at skin level employing a knife. Following this procedure he can either cauterize the wound or put a liquid medicine on it to stop the bleeding. In the other kind of surgery, the doctor actually cuts out the mole and the encompassing skin and then closes the wound with sutures. Having a mole surgically-removed will cost between $150 and $400 per mole, and it may or may not be covered by your health insurance. Though most insurance will not cover cosmetic mole removal, they sometimes will cover the procedure if the doctor feels the mole could be pre-cancerous.

Another methodology of mole removal that has become very talked-about has it taken off by laser treatments. One of the good points about having laser treatment is that there’ll be no scar. Sadly , laser removal only works on moles that don’t go below skin level, and it may take 3 or more treatments to eradicate the mole completely, costing as much as $50 to $100 per mole per treatment. If you have several moles to get rid of and they each need a number of treatments, this strategy could finish up costing you a lot of money.

Before you have any mole removed, you need to do some research about the options that are open to you. If the mole doesn’t really show and isn’t giving you any trouble, you’d be sensible to just leave it alone. If some type of mole removal does have to be done, talk to your physician to establish what strategy would be best for you and to find out what it the mole removal cost is going to be.

Mole Traps: The Besy Way to Keep Critters at Bay

It might sound hard to believe, but there are actually a variety of mole traps on the market that can either capture or eradicate moles. The key is to choose the right product for the job and to use it properly. Moles are often pests that people need to get rid of because they tend to destroy the plants in gardens. The critters can also cause large holes and tracks in the lawn that can become dangerous. Getting rid of moles may seem like a daunting task, but it does not have to be so.

The first step in the process of getting rid of moles is to purchase a trap. You may have thought that the best products on the market are those that allow you to set up a trap and lure in the creatures with poisonous bait. Although poisonous bait can be effective, it may not be the best product for everyone’s needs. The poisonous bait can actually lead to complications and make a mountain out of a mole hill. If you have children or pets, the bait may be mistakenly eaten. Or, you may kill off other wildlife in the area as a direct result. Further, the poisonous toxins may enter the ground water and lead to more problems. For this reason, avoid poisonous products and instead focus on more effective trigger-style mole traps.

When buying the trap remember to choose a product that is specifically designed for moles. Some are too large or too small to work effectively. The packaging or description of the product will state whether or not the device is recommended for mole eradication. In addition to this, you might also want to consider a spring action device. This type of device can work effectively without jamming and missing the target.

In addition to these factors, it is also necessary to select the right type of trap based on where it is positioned. Some of the most effective mole traps are those that are positioned right above the active mole runs in your lawn. In order to know where to position these traps, it is best to monitor the movements of the animals over several days. Notice where fresh dirt is being dug by the critter in order to know where to place the traps. If the holes are not active, no type of trap is going to work in that area.

Once you know where the moles are rooming, the next step in the process is to use the trap properly. Misuse of traps is one of the most common mistakes people make. Keep in mind that each of these traps operates differently so be sure to read the instructions with each trap to know how to properly set the device. Without these directions, you could cause injury to yourself.

A trap can be highly effective once it is in place and properly positioned. If you buy and use the mole traps correctly, you should be able to resolve your problem within a few days, assuming you only have one critter to manage in the process. Otherwise, invest in additional traps.

You could always do what my dad did to get rid of the mole in our garden.

He dug a 4 foot trench along the length of the garden, at the side the mole was entering from. Then he put metal sheets down along both edges of the trench, and mole traps along the bottom, then filled the trench up again and replaced the turf.

We never saw the mole again. Although, it is a drastic measure

Mole Control Getting clear of ground moles

Ground moles are not dangerous to humans but are very destructive and are enemies to the human beings due to the destruction they trigger, particularly inside the gardens. The moles move rocks and gravel as they make tunnels which could, in turn, destroy the tractors as they plough the land. Yet another dilemma that they trigger is generating the soil light and therefore simple to be eroded by the rain.

The moles also make modest hills as the dig their burrows, and these molehills aren’t great because they can cause accidents, specially on lawns. There is also the fact that as the moles drill in to the ground once they are creating the tunnels, they trigger harm the roots of trees and flowers.

The tunnels can reduce the yield of your crops and also enhance weed growth. They end up destroying the lawn by cutting the grass roots, which results in the wilting of your grass and therefore destroying the lawn and creating it look ugly. Given that moles feed on tiny insects like earthworms, and if you can find too numerous moles inside your yard it might be really hazardous since earthworms assist to aerate the soil. By having numerous moles inside your land you might be encouraging destruction of the soil and this could result in a permanent problem.

You’ll find quite a few ways to get rid of the ground moles from within your vicinity. Some of these strategies are:

* Use of pesticides on the rodent is among the main approaches to get rid of them, there are some which come in spray form, and some are supposed to be sprinkled on the openings of the tunnels so that, as the moles leave the tunnels, they are going to come into contact with the pesticides.

* One more way of finding rid of the rodents is by suffocating them. You suffocate them by blocking all the holes or the openings which they use, even so this just isn’t be the best technique of getting rid of the moles. It can be not very humane. Plus the mole could have a good deal a lot more tunnels dug than what you can discover so you may not have the ability to block all of the holes at as soon as.

* An additional rather technical strategy is by starving them. If the moles go for long periods of time without food they are going to starve and die, consequently it is possible to deprive them of food by finding rid of all grub worms inside the soil. This may only minimize them but if there are no earthworms left, then they will leave and go to a location where they will discover some thing to eat.

* The reality that moles are territorial indicates that should you introduced ultrasonic sounds that can sound like other moles, the moles will be scared and run away simply because they will believe there is yet another mole within the area. This will be a very simple way to get rid of the moles.

* Trapping the moles is yet another way of acquiring rid of the moles. They’re trapped and once within the trap it is possible to set them totally free away from your property.

Stop the Digging for Dogs

Dogs dig because of a number of reasons and to put an end to your dog’s destruction of your backyard requires that you understand why your dog is digging in the first place.

Digging For Prey:

Some dogs dig to root out prey such as snakes, gophers and even bugs. When they do this, they are acting instinctively and not out of a malicious desire to upset you. Some dogs will even try to dig out buried trash and dead animals and proudly present you with the results of their “hunting”.

Due to their keen senses of smell and hearing, dogs can detect things underground and a good indication that your dog is digging for prey is if the dog is digging by the roots of a tree or in a specific area.

Dogs that dig to get at some coveted “buried treasure” can be persistent and putting an end to this type of digging can be quite difficult. If your dog is digging to root out gophers or moles, your best option is to get rid of the prey. Ask your local garden shop for advice on how to get rid of grubs as these are a mole’s favorite food. If you get rid of the mole’s food source they will eventually move away. Never try to poison these animals or your dog may end up ingesting the poison.

If getting rid of garden pest isn’t a feasible option you should consider fencing off an area of the yard to restrict your dog’s access. Try to provide the run with a concrete or wooden floor to prevent your dog from digging his way out of the run. Always make sure you give your dog ample exercise before placing him in the run. Taking your dog on daily walks will not only provide him with the exercise he needs, but it is also a great way to keep your dog mentally stimulated.

Digging For Shelter:

Some dogs dig to make a shelter for themselves. Dogs are originally den animals and digging a shelter is a natural thing for them. You can usually differentiate prey digging from shelter digging by the size of the hole. If the hole is large enough for the dog to lie in this generally means it was dug for shelter purposes. Dogs will dig a hole to lie in during hot weather. They seek the cool, moist earth to escape intense heat. In winter dogs will dig to provide themselves a shelter from the wind and rain. If your dog is digging a shelter you should provide him with an appropriately placed dog house. The dog house should be placed close to the home in a shaded place. In cold weather areas the doghouse should be insulated to provide sufficient warmth for the dog. Some dogs dig shelters even when provided with a doghouse and this usually means the location of the doghouse is unsuitable. For example a dog that digs under a porch does so because he wants to be as close as possible to his owners, if this is the case then placing the doghouse closer to the home may prevent further digging.

If you live in a hot part of the nation you should provide your dog with sufficient shade. An insulated doghouse in a shaded area near the house is an ideal location for your doghouse. Provide your dog with a wading pool filled with fresh water. Water loving dogs such as Labradors, Golden Retrievers and Newfoundlands will especially appreciate a wading pool. Always make sure fresh, clean drinking water is freely available for your dog.

Are Ground Moles Harmful to Humans?

Moles have no direct harm to human beings, rarely when a mole bites a person that is when we can say it has directly no harm someone. Moles are also known to cause rabies, so if a mole infected with rabies bites a person, it infects, the other harmful effects moles have on human beings are not direct.

Moles harm human beings by the destruction they cause to the land and the soil. By burrowing and digging out the earthworms and other insects in the soils, the moles are interfering with the erosion of the soil. When the moles burrow, they dig and leave the soils open and when it rains the soils are easily eroded by the rain water. When they eat up all these small insects, chances are that the soil will have no air and crops will not do well in these soils because they are insufficient.

Mounds and molehills caused by the moles can be dangerous to human being because walking and playing on unleveled grounds one can get an accident if they fell down.

However it is fair to give credit where deserved, as much as the moles have many negative effects, they also have something positive to talk about. Moles eat pests that are harmful to the plant roots such as cutworms, wireworms and leatherjacket, these pests need very expensive pesticides to control. Also when the moles burrow as they make the tunnels, they are aerating that soil.

As much as moles area nuisance and bother to humans, people are not allowed to kill them. In some states in the US it is illegal to kill a mole! It is therefore advisable that you get the best methods to control the mole and get rid of them. You can put up barriers to your lawns and flower gardens such that the moles cannot get over to your lawn. A well kempt lawn attracts moles as it is proof that there are many worms, which are food to the moles.

You can also keep some pets which do not get along with the moles. Cats specifically are an enemy to the moles. The fact is that moles dislike cat waste and cat litter. Make sure to keep a cat as a pet and you will have no moles on your lawn. Pour the cat litter at the opening of the tunnels and the moles will be a thing of the past.

Moles are afraid of scents. If you spray castor oil on the lawn and at the tunnels, the moles will run away. You will have to water the lawn before spraying with the castor oil. Castor oil will remain on the lawn until it is swept away by rains and you will have no moles on your lawn. You can also plant chocolate lilies around your yard; these lilies have a strong odor that is distasteful to the moles. Therefore it is good to plant bulbs all round your garden. One more rather weird way of keeping moles way from your lawn is by putting human hair at the mole tunnels, moles hate the feel of hair and human scent so they will run away.

Natural Mole Removal Methods

Mole removal can be done by your doctor at the clinic, or by administering over-the-counter medications/treatment. However, more people are now turning to natural mole removal methods or what we call natural remedies. Why?

In our lifetime, we would have taken at least one kind of OTC medication or prescribed drug for our illness. We all understand that these artificial medication do produce some side-effects, but it immediate or long-term. There are also risks associated such as allergy, etc when using such medication to treat moles.

Mole removal using such modern techniques do have their fair share of negative side effects too. Let’s take, for instance, cauterization to remove moles. It is known that burning of the moles could affect the surrounding skin causing dsychromic lesions/wounds. Other removal methods such as excision, etc can bring considerable pain, and discomfort, and possible scarring.

Recurrence of moles is a likely scenario. Most modern mole removal methods are unable to prevent that. These treatment processes often can take days to months before you can see the results. One more thing you need to know before deciding to remove your moles at the clinic is to find out if the procedure is covered in your insurance policy. Sad to say, moles are often removed due to cosmetic reasons since they are harmless. Insurance policies would not compensate or pay you for the expenses.

By now, you should be familiar with the dangers and risks of using modern removal methods. Until recently, no treatment has been completely effective against moles. A sufferer of mole problems through many trials discovered a breakthrough method of mole removal that is 100% natural, painless, scarless and can be administered at home easily.

NeviCurative is a powerful all natural topical treatment proven to eliminate and defeat moles or nevi. Recent clinical trials have established the ability of the active constituents in NeviCurative to effectively eradicate skin moles and impair the growth of human melanoma cells. NeviCurative has therefore been shown to eliminate even the most stubborn moles, regardless of their location on the body, even when other treatments have failed.

The pharmacological strength of NeviCurative provides effective elimination of moles without scarring, tissue damage, or recurrence. The treatment is painless and delivers profound results in the elimination of moles, returning skin tissue back to its original state.

NeviCurative is well-known for its antioxidant properties. It is comprised of certified organic medicinal plant extracts, which have demonstrated their ability to eradicate melanomas and skin tumors in laboratory tests. These extracts have a remarkable array of pharmacological and biochemical properties, which are highly effective in eradicating moles.

For example, in the October 2007 edition of Anticancer Research, the organic extracts in NeviCurative were tested against melanoma and tumor cells. The study found the extracts “inhibited human tumor cell growth,” and “displayed tumor chemopreventive and chemotherapeutic properties.”

In July 2006 the Department of Technology, University of Milan, conducted a study of the NeviCurative extracts against human melanoma cells. They concluded the NeviCurative extracts were able “to inhibit the in vitro growth of multidrug resistant human melanoma cells. It has been suggested that the effect of these extracts on tumor cells could be mediated by their interaction with the plasma membrane…”

These results underscore the fact that NeviCurative, through its multiple effects on malignant cells, is useful against melanomas and moles. Due to its effectiveness in removing moles, NeviCurative has established a reputation as an unmatched mole treatment.

The reputation and successes of CURED are getting around and NeviCurative has come to be known the ultimate treatment for moles. NeviCurative can be used to treat any strain of moles occurring anywhere on the body (except near the eyes). Now you can also get rid of moles permanently and easily with natural mole removal.
How Do You Precisely Describe a Lawn Grub?

Typically, lawn grubs are the larvae of the mature moth; they are generally leaf-ingesting caterpillars. Lawn grub is a group name which refers to the grass webworm, army worms as well as the cutworms. All These types of lawn grubs can trigger comparable pest problems in your normally healthy yard.

You can say that you are clearly experiencing a lawn grub invasion if you happen to notice a brownish, hay-like section within your yard or perhaps the leaves or your lawn runners tends to be vanishing. Grub destruction is almost always characterized if the grass can be easily yanked out of its grass roots.

While caterpillars feast through the night, you can’t often start to see them immediately but you might recognize one lawn grub situation indicator which is the moths along with a wasp’s kind of pests flying above the yard. Sadly, lawn grubs can happen periodically and could threaten the yard all throughout the summer and autumn season.

How Can You Effectively Eliminate Lawn Grub or Army Worms?

An extensive variety of pesticide like the Sir Walter Pest Control can be used to eradicate lawn grubs along with other lawn infestations like the beetles, slaters, mole crickets and the earwigs. Sir Walter Pest Control grains can be sprinkled when it’s raining since the water will let the grains seep directly into the lawn roots, this is also a good way to conserve water. It is also possible to spread the grains manually or by using a lawn fertilizer spreader. For each square meter area, you must simply use 4gm of the Sir Walter Pest Control and lawns must also be treated once the lawn grubs are active.

Nevertheless, it is not always a guarantee to permanently get rid of lawn grubs once you have cleared it away. The lawn would always be in the danger of lawn grub infestation or even more pests attack in the event that the lawn still has an abundant and healthy section.

As a brand new Sir Walter Lawn could be drastically destroyed by lawn grubs during the summer months and the early part of autumn, you should always be conscious of lawn grubs. Attempt to surge the actual lawn with water paying attention to the lawn grub and try to search for newly ingested leaves. You might want to spew the lawn for control measures during the spring and autumn Season and NEVER during the summer season; this can help prevent lawn grub issues because they are usually drawn to substantial nitrogen amounts within the lawn. More and more moths may signal that you might want to spray anytime soon. Lawn grub poisons can be purchased in several gardening facilities.

12 Ways to Come Alive!

What’s the purpose of life?

What an age-old, persistent question of humankind. Why is the
answer so elusive for so many people?

Because we allow our mind to complicate the issue.

The mind will always complicate any issue. That’s its job.
That’s its nature. That’s its joy!

The mind has to complicate every aspect of life that it can.
So that it can separate life into parts. So that it can do
what it loves to do—analyze, contrast, compare, categorize and
judge!

And if we allow our mind to complicate every activity of our
lives, we’ll keep looking to our mind to figure it all out.
And we never will figure it all out. So, we’ll always keep
thinking and struggling—seeking and not finding!

As Lester Levenson, one of my dear teachers enjoyed saying,
“The mind will never assist you to free yourself from the
mind!”

So, the answer is to not consult the mind. Rather, consult the
heart.

“The heart has its reasons that reason does not know.” (Blaise
Pascal 1623-1662)

So, then, what is the purpose of life?

The heart has a simple answer. The purpose of life is to
experience. Simply to experience.

Experience what? Life. Simply life. Explore. Enjoy. Embrace.
Embody. Life.

I offer a menu of 12 simple ways to come alive. … To fulfill
your deepest inner passion to fully experience life!

1. Find a Secret Special Place
Find a place that is easily accessible so that you can go
there often. And a space where most people wouldn’t look for
you to be, so you can have some good quality alone time. It
might be a park, the roof of a parking structure, under a
bridge by a river, an unused room at work, a friend’s
apartment or cabin, or a secluded part of your own house or
yard. Choose a space where you can be solely (souly) with
yourself. Spend some quiet time with yourself every day. It’s
very important to have a place or time just for yourself. To
re-connect. To relax. To collapse. To relapse. To freelance.
To feel free. To be free.

As we claim our own time and space, our spirit is free to be
restored and creative. Turn off your cell phone and pager. If
we allow it, today’s technology can render us too accessible
and vulnerable to other people’s agendas and demands. If noise
and social pressure constantly bombard your space, you’re
drowning out your inner guidance.

In your special place just sit quietly with no expectations.
Do nothing. This may feel very uncomfortable and strange in
the beginning. Persist. Give time and space for the inner
voice to make itself heard. It will do so either during that
quiet time, or through signs and messages during the events of
your life. A synchronistic happening will occur. Someone will
tell you exactly what you need to hear. You will get a sudden
flash of insight. Become a quiet, clear, pure vessel for the
higher self to fill. Listen to yourself and trust what you
hear.

2. Immerse Yourself in Color
Every color is a unique aspect of the full spectrum of light
(life). Immerse yourself in whatever colors call to you each
day to allow each different frequency of Life Force to shift
your energy–and expand your experience of life’s banquet.
Touch a bright flower. Draw with vibrant crayons. Paint with
subtle watercolors. Wear brilliant clothes. Dissolve into
sunsets. Stand in the end of a real rainbow and let the array
of frequencies dance through your being.

3. Connect with a Wild Animal
Embark on a Walkabout (ala an Australian aborigine). Anywhere
outdoors. In a city park. Along a waterfront. In an empty lot.
At the edge of town. In a woods or meadow.
Welcome a face-to-face encounter with a wild animal. Small or
big. Furry or smooth. An insect in the grass or a fish in the
pond. A bug on a tree or a mole poking its head out of the
ground. Invite a butterfly to land on your hand. Feed a
seagull. Pet a lizard. Talk to a snake. Go into trance with a
bird.

4. Overcome a Fear

When you feel adventurous and strong, deliberately do
something you are terrified to do.

A true leader is a person who makes friends with fear. Choose
to feel the e-motion of fear as e (energy in) motion. Allow
the intense sensation to flow over and through you as you wade
through the feeling as you would bubbling water. Breathe
deeply into the tightness in your body—and invite your muscles
to release their tension. Allow the anxiety to exit through
your exhale.

Start with a small fear and work up to more convincing
“terrors.” End the tyranny of the fears and dreads that limit
your options and aliveness. Love a fear a day. Keep the shrink
away!

5. Take Mini Vision Quests Often
“Your mission, should you choose to accept it” is to simply
have fun. Whether it’s 2 minutes, 2 hours or 2 days, quest for
a vision of carefree joy. Devote bits—or bundles—of your free
time to ventures that enrich your pure enjoyment of life.
Pursue activities that make you feel fantastic and vibrant.

Take a stretch break. A bagel break. Take five for fun. Take a
breather for your body. Take it easy for your heart. Take
yourself on a date. Take a drive in the country. Go on a trek
around the block, to Starbucks, or to your favorite store. Do
something, anything, that is alive and energizing for you.

Shift your space. Move your body as much and as often as you
can all day. Active, physical movement will center, balance,
ground and revitalize you. The more you participate in life,
the more life—in the form of love, money and health—will flow
through you. Hike, jog, skip, swim, garden, cook, sing,
skydive, quilt or paint. Let your body dance you. Play music
that speaks to your soul.

Start every day with activities that are the most exciting to
you, not the tasks you think you should get done. Focus on
keeping and building your momentum as you flow through your
day. You’ll have plenty of energy and time to accomplish all
necessary chores.

6. Choose Innocence (Freedom)
Choose in-no-sense. Choose non-sense. Light some in-sense so
you can enter into non-sense. Choose to be innocent—free—of
preconception, prejudice, expectation. Adopt a beginner’s
mind. Be a blank slate. “Become ye as a child and enter the
Kingdom of Heaven.” Be open to unexpected sources of income,
resources and support. Invite surprise. Welcome serendipity.
Travel light—and journey in the land of delight.

Play on the ground like a baby. Fly a kite, roll in the grass,
or build a fort like a kid. Laugh with delight for no reason
like a child. Dance all night like a teenager. Sit on a
mountaintop like an old sage.

7. Reach across Barriers
Be a “Doctor without Borders.” Your own doc. Treat yourself
and others to the wide open spaces of acceptance and play. See
people, not categories. Be colorblind and non-denominational.
Play with whatever form of human being shows up in your day:
Women and men. Straight and undecided. Kids and adults. Large
and small. Rich and not-so-rich.
Find somebody on the opposite end of a belief spectrum from
you and begin a genuine conversation. Seek to understand, not
to convert. Find common ground, not battleground.

8. Make Friends with Birth and Death
Say “Yes!” to the transitions of life. Our Western culture
does not prepare us to deal gracefully with the natural
passages of life: birth, puberty, coming-of-age, leaving home,
menopause, 7-year-itch, divorce, bankruptcy or death. Embrace
the inherent changes that we all go through as human beings.
Attend with awe as many births as you can: human, kitties,
puppies, lambs, horses, eggs-a-hatching! Also the birth of a
new day (sunrise), a new business, a new product, a new idea!
Embrace the end of as many cycles as you can: the “death” of a
friend, a pet, a leaf. Also, the end of the day (sunset), a
business, a familiar service, an old belief!
When we realize that all of life is one continual transition
form one form to another, then each particular passage becomes
easier to accept and even enjoy as the wondrous spiritual
adventure that it is.

9. Go Natural
Be outside naked for no reason at all—in public on a
clothing-optional (nude) beach, skinny dipping at the local
swimming hole, or in the privacy of your own backyard or hot
tub. Feeling the wind gently caress your whole body is
invigorating—and liberating. To enjoy this natural benefit,
there are now a growing number of naked races, hiking clubs,
picnics, dances, meditations and gatherings all over the
world.

Our clothes are the costume we feel we have to present to the
world at all times. Being naked allows us to feel our natural
worthiness and completeness just as we are!

10. Travel without Money
Just as our clothes can over-define—and confine—us, so can our
bank account! Make a personal pilgrimage of liberation. Take a
trip somewhere, anywhere, without any cash, checks, cards or
other means of credit. And to a place where you don’t know
anyone you can borrow money from. This personal freedom trek
can be on foot, car or public transit. It can be for a mile or
1,000 miles, it can be for an hour, a day, or a year. Every
time we venture out into the world without our trappings—and
protections (armor)—of civilization, we gain in courage,
strength, self-reliance, and trust. Trust in yourself—and the
Universe—to provide. Every time we act out this trust in the
world, we increase our ability to attract and create Universal
Support and Supply. There are people who have gone around the
world with no money whatsoever. What freedom!

11. Practice Random Acts of Connection
Really. It works. Wave to a firefighter. Smile at a cop.
Salute a soldier. Hang with a kid. Have a friendly
conversation with the cashier. Leave an outrageously generous
tip. Drop in a shelter. Volunteer at a literacy program. Show
up at a community fund-raising event.

Serve others. When you give, you feel more connected to other
people. And if you’re not naturally motivated to reach out to
others, think selfishly: any altruistic gesture—from buying
someone a coffee to letting another driver in front of
you—puts you on the fast track to feeling good.

12. Cross a Body of Water
Water is archetypal. Crossing over or through a body of water
is one of the most mystical—and profound—acts a person can
pursue. Crossing over is a symbolic journey of growth and
power. It’s a metaphorical act of birth, transition, new
beginnings.

The form and scope of the water element don’t matter. Hop a
puddle. Ford a stream. Wander through fog. Bridge a river.
Swim a channel. Sail an ocean. Notice how expanded and
enlivened you feel on the other side.
Boost Your Aliveness

You can either live your life regretting all the roads left
unexplored, or you can start living the life you really want
now. Shift from thinking of yourself as a victim to realizing
you can be the source, cause, creator, of whatever happens to
you in life!
